Pi Lambda Phi at East Stroudsburg University
PA Beta Upsilon is the Pi Lambda Phi chapter at East Stroudsburg University. Our family tree runs from the founding pledge class of Fall 1980 to the brothers initiated this year.
Pi Lambda Phi was founded at Yale in 1895 as a fraternity open to men of every faith and background. At ESU, that idea turned into more than four decades of brotherhood: six family lines, hundreds of brothers, and an alumni association that still gets together every Homecoming.
Today the Pi Lambda Phi Alumni Association supports the rebuilt undergraduate chapter on campus. Alumni fund new-brother events and hoodies, host the spring New Brother Luncheon, give to the Warrior Food Pantry, and raise scholarship money through the Pi Lambda Phi Educational Foundation.
