Pass the Gavel Call

🟣 Pass the Gavel: Alumni Reflections & Brotherhood Forum

March 2026 • Virtual Event

Pass the Gavel has always been one of Pi Lambda Phi’s most meaningful traditions—a moment at the end of every meeting when each brother has the floor to speak openly, share ideas, offer reflections, and strengthen the bonds that define our fraternity. This spring, we’re bringing that tradition into a dedicated virtual space for alumni across generations.

🛡️ About the Event

Our Pass the Gavel: Alumni Edition invites brothers from the Beta Upsilon Chapter and beyond to reconnect, reflect, and contribute to the future of our fraternity. In a structured but welcoming format, each participant will have the opportunity to “take the gavel,” share their thoughts, and then symbolically pass it to the next brother—just as we did in our undergraduate days.

This gathering is designed to:

  • Foster meaningful dialogue among alumni
  • Encourage collaboration on future initiatives
  • Strengthen relationships across graduating classes
  • Celebrate the shared values and experiences that unite us

Whether you want to offer ideas for alumni engagement, reflect on your time in the chapter, or simply listen and reconnect, your voice matters. Every brother’s perspective contributes to the legacy we continue to build together.

🌐 Why Attend

In a world where schedules and geography often separate us, this virtual Pass the Gavel creates a rare moment for collective reflection. It’s an opportunity to:

  • Re-engage with the fraternity in a personal, conversational format
  • Hear what’s on the minds of brothers from multiple eras
  • Help shape the direction of alumni programming and future events
  • Strengthen the sense of brotherhood that continues long after graduation

🔔 Who Should Join

All Pi Lambda Phi alumni—recent graduates, long-standing members, and everyone in between—are encouraged to participate. Your experiences, insights, and stories enrich the conversation and help keep our brotherhood strong.

If you’d like, I can also craft a shorter promotional blurb for social media or an email invite that pairs well with this event description.
